Registrations are taken at the beginning of the year, from mid January until the beginning of the season in April. All players must be registered and have paid their registration fee to be eligible to play the first match in April.
Registrations are made through the Football Federation Australia system – MyFootballClub – www.myfootballclub.com.au
Active and Creative Kids Voucher: If you are registering a school child, the NSW Government is offering the $50 rebate to eligible candidates, which can be redeemed when registering with LCFC. You will need the voucher number BEFORE you start the registration process. This can be obtained from https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-active-kids-voucher
For players looking to join our men’s all age team who are not already associated with a squad, please contact the age coordinator at mens@lcfc.com.au BEFORE registering to discuss which division you are looking to play in.
How to Register
Step 1: Find your club and start your registration (use Google Chrome or Firefox as your web browser)
Search for your club and click on “Start Registration” to find your club’s registration page: https://www.playfootball.com.au/#whereCanIPlay. Make sure you select ‘Lane Cove Football Club‘.
If you are registering for a miniroos team (U6-U11) then click on “Aldi Miniroos Football Club” after you have clicked on “Where Can I Play?”. Do NOT click on “Aldi Miniroos Kick-Off”.
If you are registering for a boy, please note that this will appear as “Mixed”. If you are registering for a girl’s only team, please note that this will appear as “Girls”. Girls wanting to play in the mixed teams with boys can register in the “Mixed” category as well.
Step 2: Create your Football Account
Instead of using your FFA number to access the registration system, you will now need a Football Account. If you do not already have one you can create one very easily using your email address, facebook login or google login.
IMPORTANT: You will not be able to claim your participant history if your email address or social login does not match the email address used for registrations on the old MyFootballClub.
Step 3: Claiming your participant history
After logging into your Football Account you will be presented with a list of matching profiles from MyFootballClub where the email addresses match. You must link any profiles at this stage in order to register them to a club in the future.
Step 4: Registering
Once you have claimed your participant history you will be able to register any of the linked family members on your account or signup additional people.
Step 5: Proceed through the registration questions
If you get stuck you can always:
- Visit the Play Football Support site for a self-registration player guide.
- Call the support desk on 02 8880 7983: Monday-Friday 9am – 9pm AEST
- Or email admin@lcfc.com.au. We will do our best to assist but it is also the first time we are using this system!
Further information can be found on our Registration Info page here.
Step 6: New Players
If you are a new player, please contact your relevant age group coordinator to discuss placement in a team. If you would like to play with specific friends then please notify us via email: admin@lcfc.com.au.
