Club Code of Conduct

  • Play by the Rules.
  • Never argue with an official. If you disagree, have your captain, coach or manager approach the official during a break or after the competition.
  • Control your temper. Verbal abuse of officials and sledging other players, deliberately distracting or provoking an opponent are not acceptable or permitted behaviour in any sports
  • Work equally hard for yourself and/or your team. Your team’s performance will benefit, so will you.
  • Be a good sport. Applaud all good plays whether they are made by your team or the opposition.
  • Treat all participants as you would like to be treated. Do not bully or take unfair advantage of another competitor.
  • Cooperate with your coach, team-mates and opponents. Without them there would be no competition.
  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.
  • Treat all equipment provided by the Club with care, respect and application of a fair use for all.
  • Return all equipment to LCFC Equipment Shed at the completion of use, or directly to the hands of the next team who will be using the equipment. If you are the last team training or playing on the grounds it is your responsibility to ensure that all equipment is returned to LCFC Equipment Shed and the Shed is locked up securely.
  • Report any misuse of or broken equipment to LCFC Kit Manager via kit@lcfc.com.au or available officials at the grounds at the time.
We are all part of the same club so it is everyone’s responsibility to make sure that all equipment is returned to the sheds or handed directly off to another team to use. If you require additional equipment at any time, or if something breaks and requires replacement please ensure you let our Kit Manager know as soon as possible via kit@lcfc.com.au so we can ensure that all our equipment is in good working order for all teams. Likewise if you notice any misuse of equipment please call it out or report it.
